    Our own neighborhood park. Five acres, run by Washington City, right in Shooting Star, with a walking trail that loops the whole thing. Open 6am to 10pm.

  • Sullivan Soccer Park

    Fields and open space, close enough for a weeknight game.

    Paved riverside trail for walking, running, and bikes.

    Indoor pools, gym, and courts. About 10 minutes away.

Reserving the pavilion

The large pavilion at Shooting Star Park can be reserved through Washington City for a fee. Everything else in the park (the playground, courts, and trail) is first come, first served and can't be reserved.

  • Applications are online only. The city won't take a pavilion reservation over the phone or in person.
  • Apply at least 7 days before your event.
  • The fee is $50 per 4-hour block. Confirm it with the city before you count on it.
  • City code requires a reservation for gatherings of 25 or more people.
  • No water games, pools, water obstacle courses, or slip & slides.
  • Bounce house, pop-up tents, or a speaker? That spills past a normal pavilion booking, so the city wants a Limited Activities Permit instead, filed at least 20 days ahead (under 199 people).
  • Planning something bigger, with vendors, amplified sound, or road closures? That's a Special Event Permit, and it needs 45 days' notice.
